HIT Athletic is teaming up with The World’s Strongest Man and Olympic lifting athlete Mark Henry, to deliver a powerful camp experience for ages 8-18. Whether they are an athlete or interested in increasing their general fitness, this camp is designed to educate and inspire kids to get active!
Camp will be held 3-Days a week, M-W-F, from 1:30pm to 3:30pm, where participants will spend 50 minutes working on the fundamentals of age appropriate strength training, and 50 minutes on improving Speed, Agility, and Conditioning.
At the conclusion of each week, participants will take home new skills and knowledge that will increase one’s confidence when it comes to being active.
Week 1 – July 6/8/10
Week 2 – July 13/15/17
Week 3 – July 20/22/24
Week 4 – July 27/29/31
Each week is capped at 50 participants.
5-10 minutes – Opening announcements, Warm Up
45-50 minutes – Strength/Olympic Lifting basics/300 Strength Workout (downstairs turf area)
45-50 minutes – Speed/Agility/Conditioning Training (upstairs turf)
5-10 minutes – Cool Down, Closing Statements
